Looking to buy a 99 PSD Questions

My buddy is selling a 99 Powerstroke with 280K, Auto, bone stock. I read the what to look for thread, and I will do those when I go and look at it, anything else I should look for? Is 280K too much for these trucks?

i have heard a lot of guys on here with more miles then that. it all depends on how the truck was taken care of just like anything else.
