Intermittent charge light

I have a 99 F350 LB 4WD with 7.3 and Banks 6-gun Diesel tuner. In the last few months I have had an intermittent charge light. I tested both batteries according to tests in my Haynes manual, and both tested within range. Both batteries purchased about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Truck has 105K miles after 10 years, so I took alternator to Autozone, Pep Boys, and Napa, and all state they were unable to test it. I went ahead and bought a new alternator, fearing getting stranded out in the middle of nowhere. Truck has not exhibited any charging issues, but I erred on the side of caution. Installed the new alternator, and I'm still getting the intermittent charge light. It does it under load or no load situations, and it does seem to appear after its warmed up. Been working on vehicles my whole life, and this one is new to me. Grounds on the truck appear good, but I'm gonna sand all contacts again and smother in white grease. Any ideas or similar probs? Anyone?

we have tested the alternator and when the light comes on its not changing anything so maybe it could be something that needs to be reflashed?

I've been having the same issue for a while. Can't track it down. cleaned all connections and wires. when the light comes on i get a drop to about 12.3 for a while then it will go off and it goes back up to 13.8 - 14.1 maybe a tech has seen this issue before

My light comes on as well and as a bonus it also throws sparks! I've heard that if you use anything other than the factory alt you will have issues.
