finally got my cps recall

today i got a letter from ford for my cps sensor.... after i have already put in 2 in the last year my truck is an 01 350 i am suprised it has taken this long for ford to realize this is a problem.....

i got mine too! i am takin it in tom. i have not had a problem at all with mine i am going to see if i can have the old one to keep for an extra!

dealer told me i wasnt qualified...wtf..why? its a 2000 from kentucky truck plant

mine is an 01 from the kentuckey plant maybe they are doing them by year???

I never got a letter i just ran my VIN number and it said It needed it.

When you take it in they will probably do an update to your PCM.

Do a search... don't waste your time with the CPS recall. The recall unit is a POS and has caused issues for many trucks. If you need a new CPS, buy one from IH.
