URGENT!!! Got some questions about my 7.3

How can i get better milage out of my 7.3?
Is a TS 6 pos. chip the way to go? Is it safe?
How much is too much for a automatic 4r100 transmission?

I have a 2002 f-250, the only mod as of right now is a bank's 4" turbo back w/ power elbow exhaust...

Go with a TW or DP tuner chip, or there is one other custom tuner for the 7.3, Bill at PHP or something, gotta give him some credit too. Way better than a TS.

To answer you about the trans, its a crap shoot, ive had mine chipped with a TW for a few months, im pretty rough on it and its still holdin together. Thats not to say however that yours wont go out a week later. They go out in stock form, let alone chipped.

How many miles you got on it?

the truck has about 116,777 right now... i just got it home a week ago from the trans. shop. i had a new rebuilt put in and it warrantied... my old one had a bank's shift enhancer... its destroyed the whole thing..it was a regular horror story... got anything for milage?

I have tw tunes and have seen better mpg's and as far as the trans I have no complaints for about a year give or take.

where can i pick up a boost fooler? is there a noticable diff?

What kind of mileage are you getting?

First thing is to keep the RPM's below 2000.

the only real difference I saw with a boost fooler was no defueling and cel and I got mine from ITP

to be honest my mileage has been sucking lately because of my cps and had to pick up a new one from the International dealer. but even with a a bad one I was seeing about 20 mpg on the highway. I will have to see if it's ant better with this one.

is the boost fooler worth the money and time? and i would kill for 20 mpg... im gettin at best 16...

Hand calculated 20MPG is pretty darn good.
