tranny questions

first off i hope this is the right thread to post in for my question...but

i have an 02 4x4 powerstroke with a bad tranny
I have a motor and tranny out of an 03 7.3 ambulance 2wd so im wondering what needs to be done in order to make the 2wd tranny work in my 4wd truck?

It is, but it can be swapped from his old tranny when you pull the tail shaft of the 2WD out...
