Rotella 5W-40 synthetic ????

Anyone using this oil, the owners manual states a 10w or 15w-40 . But I read somewhere that Ford has said the Motocraft 5W-40 synthetic is acceptable in all Powerstroke engines. Locally for me the Rotella is $10 cheeper by the gallon.

It has special properties that helps the oil stick to parts for better lubrication and less of a dry start.

The syn lasts longer does not break down under pressure or heat and helps control soot and carbon control
