CPS issues after new recall

I think my CPS is goin' out... it was replaced about a year ago under the recall... just wondering who else has had any problems with the new ones, and if I pick one up at Advance or Auto Zone, is it going to be the "new" one or the "old" one?

It is most likely gonna be the new one from the parts stores. I have heard of many of the new ones taking a crap.
There is a company that is selling a upgraded CPS i just read about it the other day i will See if i can find it or maybe some one knows.

Thanks... I just picked up a new one (it's black) from Auto Zone earlier today... will change it later this afternoon...
Truck has been randomly stalling out when it's warmin' up in the morning, 'hic-upping' while driving once in a while, and actuly stalled out twice while driving in the past few days... all this in just the past week or 2... otherwise running great since it was changed a year ago...

Ok, so I put in the new CPS from AutoZone the other day... it's a black one FYI, and it's 'hic-uped' on me twice or three times now, hasen't stalled out competely yet tho. Frustrating after having just changed what I thought was gonna be an "open and shut case"... what the heck? Could it be the fuel filter, it might have been a while since that's been changed... and if so, is this 'hic-up' the right symtom? Not sure what to do... Not a big problem, but just don't like the uncertanty of the situation...

Has it been raining there? Have you been running the windshield wipers?

There has been a history of rain/wipers causing hiccups and stalls. My truck was hiccuping and stalling during the last rain storm but has been fine ever since. I am waiting for the next rain storm to see if the rain is the reason.

Nope, dry when this happens... or, at least it happens wet or dry...
