I just cleaned and oiled my blue afe air filter for the second time but I still don't know how much oil to put on it. I sprayed it twice and it looks pretty saturated on the outside but when I look at it from the inside and hold it up to the light some of it looks saturated all the way through and some of it looks like it doesn't have any oil on it. Try getting an S&B recharge kit. It has a suction device that helps you distribute the correct amount of oil to each pleat on your airfilter. When it comes to oiling your airfilter, oil is oil, but you can still use the oil from your AFE kit. It looks like this:
