Manual Trans.

O.K. so if this has been addressed before I can't find it... I have a late 99 with a 6-speed manual transmission. Can I add a performance chip like a superchip or hypertech and have it work with a manual trans? All the performance chips seem to effect the automatic trans. Any tech help?

They will all work with a manual trans, If you have the option go with a TW or Dp chip on it...much better than the two choices you mentioned, and comparable in price

Does anyone have any experience adding a chip to the 6.0 with the manual trans. I have a 2005 F350 that just seems to be lacking in power and torque with only 47K on the odometer. I've had my EGR checked and it was fine. The Ford tech said the 6.0 manuals just don't have the power like they should, but I was hoping a chip might help because I love shifting gears and don't want to buy a new truck.
