Now that I have your attention.I did not no where to post this so I posted it here in my home sec. I was wondering how much a Diesel mechanic makes working on trucks,and what schooling the have to have.

Well, I'm not sure if it's the same elsewhere in the country, but from what I've found @ Colony Ford in RI, their diesel mechanics work flat rate & they need a bachelor's degree in automotive technology & either some sort of diesel background(previous experience, military, etc.), or a certification in diesel technology..........their going rate for repairs is $80+ an hour.
