Alternate fuels

To everyone who has thought about fuel prices, job changes, vegi oil,etc............
Hang in there.................
Mr.Boon Pickens told Congress today what and how to expect to get off foreign oil.........
Get ready to convert your diesel to natural gas, alcohol,or bio-fuels..
If you go natural gas ,you can fill up at home .If you have gas at home, with a compressor. The conversion is about 1500 to 3500.00 but its less than half the price of gas and it will be available all over the USA.
If you what cheep.Make you own alcohol and inject it into the turbo with a carb.for about 1500.00..
You all know about bio diesel .The only problem hear is the fuel will go up in price and/or the vegi oil will be sold at resturants to the highest bider. We all know that will be.
Im hoping to go natural gas soon.I think it will be the cheapest for heavy duties and big rigs. Maybe the industry leader. In the US.Congress will start soon,so hang in there all. Were all in this together.
Even if it only a band aid.

Yes I think Mcains plan is something like this: Keep using oil until it runs out and THAN look for some kind of alternate energy.

Take this kind of crap to the political forum and keep it out of the vehicle discussion forums.

I was contributing to the thread. If it caused a problem, the mods would have moved it. But thanks though.

Spewing your uninformed info was contributing?

As always, I would not expect anything different.

Who are you to say it is uninformed? It was an opinion. I wasnt asking for you to verify it. Oh and BTW, look at yourself, no one else commented on it, yet YOU found it necessary to comment on it, and turn this thread into an argument. And on top of that, you must be the most miserable person on this forum to talk to. Get with it, and lighten up. Stop embarrassing yourself.

You are the easiest person to wind up. Who has the real issue(s) here?
