Driving a 7.3 now
Back to driving the 7.3 now since the 2 trucks in my sig are down. The 88 just has a siezed fan clutch. Not a big deal but don't wanna drive it like that. The 05, well it's being a pain. Only draw back of the 7.3 is it's a regular cab flatbed.

First one puked, warped heads, and scored block. Reman didn't even make it out of the crate before it came a pile of sh!t. That motor is scored so bad you can see the score marks from 30 feet away.

And that reman motor was rebuilt by Cat. Yes, Catepillar diesel.

Mn I would be pissed and looked up a attorney real quick. I assume the crate motor was suppose to be new?
Good Luck, but at least you have a real truck to fall back on, jking, could be worse, you could be driving a Honda!! |

Long story short I don't want to lemon the truck because it will hurt business down the road. The motor was supposed to be a rebuilt but it wasn't. I think CAT cheated and just re painted a crap motor and sent it out. I fell back on the 88 but the fan clutch siezed and I'm tired of driving it so I'm using the company truck but everytime I drive it the family gets hyped up over it. As for Honda's I love them. All of my small generators, pressure washers, water pumps, any small equipment is Honda because Honda does not break and they are great quality. They also make some killer dirtbikes.
