boost pressure

i have a 99 7.3. im looking to get more boost pressure my guage shows only 7lbs or so. anyone got any suggestions?

yea your gauge is junk or you have it hooked in the wrong place.i build 30 pounds with mine and if yours is stock you should build about 20 or so

No stock truck is going to build 2olbs of boost, but you should be seeing 15-17, check for leaks or kinks in the tubing leading to the gauge, as well as boost leaks at your intake boots ( cracked boots, or loose clamps) . If all that is good your turbo may be going South, but my bet is loose intake clamps.
