crank case pressure??

how much is normal? how much is too much? i was told the quick and easy way is to place your oil filter cap onto of the oil fill and let it rest there and while the trucks running it it blows it off your in need of repair but if it stay there and kind rocks a bit you should be ok, i know theres a vacuum tool or w.e at ford and this is the "farmer way" of doing it but it still works? is this true??

I have seen trucks with a wide variety of Blowby, but all 7.3's are pretty severe compared to most vehicles!! My 2000 with 60K on it had quite a bit more blow by than my friends with 200+ on it. If you really want to know if you are in trouble have a compression check and I would do a UOA.
