Rotella T Oil milage

Stupid me... I thought the whole T line of Rotella was synthetic, but nope. Bought the 15w40 dino oil instead.

Should I do this next oil change at 3,000 or could I go further and be safe?

I have done 5,000 mile changes on my truck. Currently it is at 211,000 miles with no oil related issues. Oil Analysis by Blackstone Labs always tells me the oil was in good shape and capible of going longer.

Yep. Other than whatever Ford put in it at the factory, it's only had Rotella-T 15w40 Regular oil and Motorcraft FL1995 filters.

Delo400 dino oil on my truck since day 1 every 5k miles with motorcraft filters and Blackstone always tells me it has enough life in it for another 2500 miles but I like to be safe either way.

Lol when I bought my excursion my friend told me he put Synthetic Rotella 15w-30 & changed it every 10k. When I went to change the oil I found out they (Shell Rotella) do not make synthetic 15w-30. They make 5w-30 in synthetic, which I went with even though I'm in a warm climate.

I use rotella t, love it, actually starts with speed and like it was just cut off a few minutes ago (I'm sure the NEW batts helped when I performed that oil change too)

But I got no complaints on it, every 4-7k (depends on how tight my funds are)
