opinions about bully dog?

what do yall think of these two items on my truck. How would they help and are they worth it?

Bully Dog - F250 & F350 02-03 Auto 6 Position 4-Bank Chip - 41617 - Adjustable performance module for Ford Diesel trucks.

Ford 7.3L Shift Enhancer 94-03

If you think they arent worth it, what would you reccomend? Im looking for mostly milage but i want power there when i want it. I am coming from a Cummins and i dont want trans. trouble with the ford like a had with the dodge. thanks in advance

Bully Dog is for Dodge guys that know nothing about trucks

If i was you i wouldnt get either one. Id go with custom tuned Tw or Dp chip and a good valve body from BTS.

Dont forget gauges

Agreed get Tony Wildman chip or a DP Tuner. They are the only options for a 7.3 as far as Im concerned.

bully dog sucks i have sold a lot of there stuff and its crap i had a customers truck not program right when he brought it back bully dog said o just swap out the unit well when we did that it messed up the programing then i spent 6 hours on the phone with bully dogs tech support while the retards tried to figure out how to re program it this whole time the customer just sat in the show room.

ok. fair enough... thats what i needed to know... thanks guys. I think im gonna go with a TW chip. I dont like DP only bc of the way the did their switch. I like the rotary style switch that TW offers.

How does the TW do on a stock tranny? Im not gonna beat on the truck all day everyday but i do get in the mood everyonce in a while for some black smoke and to go fast. Im gonna look into a BTS valve body as stated eariler in the thread but how will the stock tans. hold up in the mean time?

Or how bout the SCT programmers for the 7.3s? I looked for some reviews for them but i couldnt find anything. Anyone have some input...

tw or double penetration (dp) tuner is the only way to go for 7.3s, i think the sct is good for a 6.0

I see that you have the tony wildman tunes, but you say Dp is still the best, why?
