For a really great, lifetime, Gas Shock take a look at the Monroe Reflex (without the "Bling", and accompanying $$ of a Bilstein )

I got a set of 4 Plus the Steering Stabilizer from Amazon for @150 delivered when I did my '02 a couple of years ago....

Maybe it was just me but I just replaced a full set of Monroe Reflex's with KYB MonoMax's (which were closeouts). They are stiffer, but in a more controlled manner to my way of thinking. The Reflex's were on the truck when I bought it (94K miles) but they were far from new. Maybe they were just old. I am happy with the KYB's and what I paid for them.

4" Diamond Eye, turbo back w/5" tip
ISSPRO EV2 Pyro, Trans Temp, Boost and Fuel Press

For what you pay I think 5100's are overpriced. My crappy HD's rode no different for half the price. 5160's, much different story.

shocks

I'm currently running 5100's on my 2000 f250 with 10 inches of lift and 39.5 iroks, the ride is terrible! I found this thread by searching for a better shock! please whatever you do, don't go with the 5100's there is a reason they are so cheap compared to other bilsteins. Im currently looking into fox shocks:

but am not completely sure I want to fund them. Anyone else running these shocks that can give testimonials of how well they softened the ride?

I tried them when I lifted one of my other trucks, honestly there was zero difference switching from the 20 dollar part store special to the n2o series from RC. Not a very good option for the money.

please help me with my shocks.

I'm looking at FOX shocks as I've said before, my leaf spring to bump stop measurement is 9" and my shock mount to shock mount measurement is 26" what is the right size shock for my truck?

I'm thinking the 29.37 inch extended length and 18.0 inch collapsed length would be a good fit with 11.37 inches of travel.

Does anyone with expertise have any objections?
