blown turbo now white smoke from exhaust

little help please...i puked my turbo on my 01 f350 psd today, im about 240 miles from home. truck runs fine but i have lots of white smoke coming out the exhaust. i beleive its the oil from the turbo getting into the cumbustion chamber because the bushings from the turbo are toast. i ordered a holstet turbo from brians truck shop a few days ago and expect it in a few days. can i drive this thing 240 miles blowing white smoke or can i cap the oil lines going to and from the turbo so i can limp home? i dont want to spend any money rebuilding the stock turbo when i have a much better turbo on the way. any info at this point would be a big help. im in ft lauderdale fl...

I don't think that thing will make it that far. The oil inlet and outlet are under the turbo. They are direct port o-ring with no way to block them off.

White smoke can also be fuel, especially noted in a cold morning when combustion chambers arent up to a good temp yet, or if you low idle for a long time.

Other than that, an injector issue can give you white smoke.

Since I assume you have no boost, and your going a decent way up in the RPMs.. maybe you're washing unused fuel out into the exhaust since you have no boost. Smoke colors gets tricky to identify what is going on sometimes, what are the outside temps in your area?
