Looking for an 08+ Steering Wheel/ Clock Spring

I just purchased a 2011 steering wheel and a few different clock springs, no longer in search for an 08+ steering wheel.
I want to make an adapter/ modification plate to make the newer style steering wheels fit in pre-2008 trucks.

I have access to a CNC machine and 3D printer and would really like to come up with something to make this work.

If you are interested in an adapter please let me know!

Thanks,

Andrew

I'd buy an adapter depending on price of a wheel and air bag/ air bag cover

Thanks for that link! Most the steering wheels I found were $200+
I think I'll buy that steering wheel and see if I can get things to fit. If I can't then I'm only out $50 + a clock spring.

I'll give it my best shot!

I ordered a brand new steering wheel and 3 clock springs in attempt to get this to work! I'll keep everyone updated. If I do manage to find a way, I'm considering selling conversion kits.

Are you going for functioning steering wheel audio controls as well? Would LOVE that. It would be a labor of love...installing the newer wheel and conversion kit and then wiring in the aftermarket steering wheel audio control adapter kit for aftermarket HU...but so totally worth it in the end.

an airbag/ non airbag cover would also be a concern, a 50-100 wheel is no problem the air bags are going for 200+

Sometimes you can pick whole steering column for cheaper than an air bag.
