2001 POWERSTROKE VS 2002 POWERSTROKE

Ok guys I have a general question. I had a Ford 2002 F-250 4x4 6 speed. I put a DT tuner on it along with a 4' exhaust. The truck ran like a bear. I use my trucks on a farm and regularly pull a trailer weighing 20,000lbs. The F-250 was just a little light to handle the weights so I bought a 2001 Ford F-450 4x4 6 speed. I put a 4' exhaust and a edge tuner. The truck runs good but not close to the F-250. They both have roughly 80,000 miles. I did notice when driving the 450 the boost never goes much above 15 and that's at 2800 rpms. Any thoughts? I have heard a 02 stock has 275 horsepower and a 01 has 235 horsepower even with the tuner could that be why?Would it be worth it to put a larger turbo and injectors? I do have pretty good mechanical ability just not a lot of experience with powerstrokes. Thanks again.

Both those motors are identical in every way that would affect power. They are both rated the same too.

Could just simply be up pipe leaks, boost leaks, etc... Maintanence stuff

Id guess tuning and gearing, the custom tuned truck should go circles around the edge tuned one, and what gears are they running? 3.73 vs. 4.80?

300hp is 300hp... Doesnt matter on stock injectors.

Gearing is the biggest thing.

Meh...

Some tuners are better then others, but with stock injectors it is what it is.

do you still have the f250? is there still a red tube connected to the waste gate actuator on it? the 450 probably still has the red tube attached which explains the low boost.
