Pesky battery drain

Does anyone else have trouble with the batteries being dead or very low if the truck sits for more than 2 weeks without being started?

The first several years I owned my truck it never sit for more than a couple days so I never had any trouble with battery drain. In the last year I’ve been letting it sit a lot more because of financial concerns and I have noticed that anytime it sits for a couple weeks or longer then the batteries will be dead and it will not start. I’m pretty confident it isn’t the batteries themselves, they are fairly new 1000+CCA batteries. I have noticed that the vacuum pump kicks on every now and then. I would think that it wouldn’t run with the key off but it does. I plan to put a relay in the power wire going to it when the weather warms up some. Do yall think this could be my trouble, could a vacuum pump kicking on every once in a while drain 2-1,000CCA batteries in a couple weeks and is the pump supposed to work without the key on?

As far as I know the pump is not supposed to be running with the key off...
