Looking for some info

I have an issue with my rear doors squeaking now and was wondering if anyone else had similar issues and fixes. I had someone ride with me and pull the doors in and determined it was the rubber grommets that go between the door and the body that move around. I zip tied some cloth over them this morning to see if it would help. I can't hear the drivers side but the passenger side seems to be as noisy as ever. I wonder if it's a different rubber piece like along the bottom of the door or door molding or what. It's loud and annoying. Let me know if anyone has replacement grommets that are softer and not noisy or anything.

I'm looking for some good smoked window flares and fender flares and mud flaps for front and rear. Also looking for smoked mirror light lenses to match the ones I found for the headlights, tail lights, and third brake light.

Anyone know about or why in the SD's that the steering seems to stick sometimes and then unstick. Mine does this and sometimes makes a low rubbing noise or something while turning. Think it does mainly turning left and the fluid is full.

I'm also looking for full sets of rubber floor mats for front and rear. I have the hook on the drivers side so not sure if there are some for that and if there is a full length one to cover the middle in the front like they have for the rear.

What's a good window wiper to go with for my truck?

I would like to find a grill for the fog light area that matches my main front grill if anyone knows of any.

I would like to make my truck not so bumpy riding and smoother so if you have any suggestions on shocks to use adjustable or not let me know. I have also heard about velvet ride shackles that give your truck smoother driving but lower it 3/4"-1" and not sure if I would want to do that or not and if there are any that wont lower the truck and if there are any other parts that would help it have a smoother ride.

I know this is a lot but I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

I spray my seals with a silicone spray on a rag once in a while and it seems to help. I run 22" window wipers on mine, they cover alot more area.

what kind of shocks are you running? a lot of people on here are running the Bilstein 5100 series. theres a bunch of different manufacturers out there and im sure more people will list them. as far as the "small billet grille" hit up ebay. i see them on there all the time. vent shades makes a rain guard/visor kit that snaps into the track for the window.

You asked a lot of questions, normally you will get better responses by breaking them up to separate threads but let's get started. There is a black piece on the rear doors that is held on with plastic grommets, this is where youre noise is coming from. Remove it, apply a bunch of 100% silicone and reapply. It solved my noise issues.

Recon makes alot of the items you mentioned, but just google "truck accessories and hunt until youfind what you are looking for.

Could be a steering box going bad, could also be the fluid. I saw a big difference by switching to synthetic ATF, you do know it takes ATF and not PS fluid right? the Superduties used a pump that was barely adequate for stock tires, let alone a lifted truck with larger tires. You may have to go to a larger pump!!

Any premium wiper will work, I like the triple edge Bosch blades, but I have used the Rain X as well and they all work good for awhile!!!

You can't have both worlds, a smooth ride just doesn't go with a large lifted truck and big tires!! All the premium shocks, Bils, Rancho, KYB, all ride rough, the best shocks I have found are the Monroe Reflex but I don't know if they make them for lifted trucks.

Thanks, i'll have to try some silicone spray and some larger wipers. I just hope the larger wipers wont wear out the motors any faster or make them too much slower.

I don't know what kind they are. They are white unmarked shocks. Thanks, ill see what ebay has to offer for the grills and vent shades.

I think the 22" wipers came from the factory on early 99's. I don't know why ford started putting on smaller one's. I have been running 22" wipers since 02 with no problems. Just a bigger peep hole to look out of.
