Standard trans to auto swap

What do i need for parts to swap from an 02 6 speed to an automatic. I do the work on on a friends truck. He has a lot into this truck. Its a f350 srw 4 door 4wd. His wife wants an automatic. He has too much into it to sell, he likes the 7.3
Question is, what is all needed to do the swap? Odviously trans, how about transfer case? Will a standard one fit an auto? Steering column? What do i need to locate?
Thx

There's a bunch of threads on here for auto to manual swaps... He'd need everything in those and go in reverse If you posted his location, I bet you could find somebody who wants to do the opposite swap...

Wiring will be very extensive for you... You will have to change out the main body harness to go from manual to automatic....

I wouldn't even do it and I did power windows/locks the factory way

Please check out my 7.3 Enthusiast Facebook group! All are welcome! LINKY

There's a thread I followed when I did my swap... I'll post it when I get near a computer.
