If you have a compatible code reader you can read the code, or, when you first start the truck the air bag light will flash a two digit code. It will do this twice then light continuous. Mine just started doing it. The air bag light for the passenger shut off switch is blown out and is throwing a 27 code on the dash. If it is the same with yours, check to see if the air bag light on the passenger shut off switch is lighting up when first starting.

Is yours a super duty or light duty? Have you checked for any flashing light codes? What body style do you have? Reg cab, super cab, crew cab?

I took a small pc of black electrical tape and covered the light. Problem solved

I'd have to be hit by something pretty darn big to need airbags

Funny thing , I went out to check the flash code and It didn't flash.
Drove down to a buddies house to check with his scan tool and there were no codes and..... the light stopped coming on????
Let sleepy Dogs lie I always say!!!
It's a super duty crew cab with 8" lift
