I have a 2001 F-250 with about 116000 miles on it. I have recently replaced one of the batteries, new alternator, the starter (three times 1 old unit and 2 bad ones from local parts house), and I still have difficulty starting. Temps are between 30 and 15 degrees F. Truck will turn over and sometimes will start once and if the engine stalls, there is not enough juice left in batteries to spin starter fast enough to start the truck again. Batteries have been tested, they are fine, current starter tested fine, and the truck still does not want to start after being plugged in for 2 hours. Have to recharge batteries after each additional attempt to start the unit. I did not have any problems unit the temps dropped below 30 F 2 days ago. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks T

could have bad glow plugs. check the glow plug relay. one side should have 12 volts when the key is off. then turn the key on and the other side should get power. my relay had a broken terminal.

you need two batteries to start. replace the second one and the load will be distributed. is there a short somewhere draining the batteries, i wouldnt trust the tester they have been wrong before, especially if theres a dead cell.
