Tested Out The Black CPS Today

Man, I am so glad I got more involved in the CPS threads & found out about DP selling the black IH's. Just from 1 test ride today, I can already tell a huge difference. For 1, it started a lot easier in 29* weather this morning without the block heater. The throttle is a lot snappier, & even climbing hills has improved. & for my bad #8 injector, the miss is to a point where I can stand it. I don't know if anyone else has had the same results, but it sure as crap cleared up a couple of mine. If anyone's interested....I've got 2 grey CPSs for sale: It's a buy one get one free...get it?

I was surprised I had gotten mine. I was reading on the DP forum they only had 39 left sometime in Dec. & I had ordered mine just after New Year's!

Secretive? No not really. It just took awhile to put two and two together.

We have had numerous customers complain of things we would have never thought it could be the CPS of all things. Its a little ole sensor and couldn't possilby be doing all these crazy things to their trucks.

It took some time to figure out.

Symptoms with the grey CPS included:

Loss of power
loss of fuel mileage
Failing contribution tests everytime in # 3 and #8 cylinder.
Erratic idle

After replacing with the IH black cps those problems went away.

I am sorry to inform but we will not be able to place another order after what is here is gone.

Once all black ones are gone the grey superceed.

I'm not being secretive. I find it easier to reference info with PMs because they're easier to bring up instead of scrolling through a thread. I'm just trying to be helpful.

What I would do first if are on the west coast is check with your local IH dealer. Hope and pray they have some. If not, I'll be glad to help.
