High mileage truck?

My 02 f150 with 230000 miles was totaled out by hail. Looking at a 02 super duty crew. The truck has 450000 miles. Rebuilt motor at 290000 and Trans done at 400000. The truck looks like it has 100000 on it. Interior is great shape leather. Truck was used to haul hay. Could buy for 6k. Do I run or consider it? Oh and the truck has never been modded. Thanks

If it's in good shape it dose not matter.

To me milage is meaningless..just says how many miles is on it...not its mechanical state.

My truck has has 240k and going strong.

Our 05 explorer has 104k and is a total POS! Always braking down...

What about the price? Seems like the PSD 7.3 trucks are holding value. 6k for a 02 ccsb Lariet with super high miles?

just remember this one you have to trust that whoever did the work did it right the first time. not all motor swaps/rebuilds are done right. plus everything else how does the frame look any rust spots.? axels transfer case hubs... that being said 6k for a near spotless truck with rebuilt motor and trans sounds like a pretty good deal

For twice the price you would find one with half the miles, so price seems some what reasonable for what I've been seeing.

2001 F250 CCSB
Less than cold air intake
RR Billet Wheel
EBPV gone
AIH gone
Turbo back 4" MBRP muffled
6 PHP tunes
315's with Zone level kit
On board air
Suspension air bags
