Chip Questions
I just purchased a 99 f250 7.3 and it has a chip in it. The guy that I bought it from could not remember the brand of chip, he thought that it had 5 settings: high idle, stock, 25, 50, 125. But the dash adjustment has 6 settings. Does anyone know where I can check the brand and find out what each setting is?

should be on the chip itself. you will probably need to remove the computer to check. i think you can see how to take the computer out of the truck and where its located on most of the web sites where you buy the chips.

pull the PCM and take the chip out and see what is stamped on it...
and Welcome to the Org.... you should be running gauges at a minimum with any chip or tuner... intake and exhaust are also highly recommended let me know if you have any questions -Raul |
