Are the international ones better than the blue ones you get from Ford? What color is yours by the way?

Not all IH CPSs are better. IH also uses the same exact grey ones that Ford uses. I have both bad p/n's for IH & Ford(grey) if you want to know which ones to stay away from. The blue one you have is an IH that they used in the '94-'97 PSDs. That one is ok, but there's a new p/n that supercedes the one you have if it's original. The one I have is black & I'm not 100% sure if it works in all PSDs. Someone else might post on this thread with a better answer.

The blue one actually comes from the 7.3's big bro, the DT466. DP Tuner has a bunch of black IH CPS's on their website for $65.
BTW, the pink/rainbow smilie cracked me up

Thanks man. It should be the new motto when shopping for a CPS. DP Tuner is where I got this one. I can't wait to get it in & torch the grey one!

Can you tell if the CPS is going out or does it just decide to not start someday. I was told to always keep one in the glovebox and I have.
