Question How big???

can any body help me i have 2 sets of paper work for my truck 1 says it is a 7.3 and the other says it is a 6 does anyone know how to tell which is which?

im assuming you have an 03? because thats the only year you had both...

you can usually tell by the engine compartment and looking at the intake...

thanx guys the man i bought it off who imported it to the uk has registered it as a 6litre must have been saving on the import duty!!!!
I am pumped it is a 7.3 more power!!!!

ok guys thanks for the help on that issue the next problem i have is that the guy i bought it off tells me it has been chipped but doesn't know by who! it also has i six inch lift done but yet again he does not know who did it surprise surprise!!! is there any way i can find out this information? sorry to be a pain in the butt with all these questions it just it is my first truck and i wanna do it right!!!

if it has a chip it will be plugged directly into your PCM.. pull the PCM and see i their is something in their plugged in...

as far as the lift.. most of the manufacturers stamp the company logo on some of the parts... also check the leaf springs for a name....

Look for stickers on the lift or post pics of it and I bet we can figure it out....

If it was chipped then you need to look at the computer under the dash on the drivers side and see if there is a wire coming out of it.
