Another day at work another wrecked 250

Well today we had a hell of a lot of wind making the snow drifting horrible and the roads were sheets of ice due to the severe cold.. I did a whole bunch of recoveries today and hauled lots of wrecks but this one stands out among the rest ...

the road to the accident scene.. keep in mind the wind died down about 45 mins before the accident occured .. makes ya feel like the ice road truckers ...

the driver was ok he was alone in the truck heading to a job site road got the best of him and he rolled it into a huge drainage ditch.. The roads were a lot worse then they look every down shift my rear end would lock up on the ice while I was running empty...I was hauling a wrecked escape that got t-boned by a semi when the call came in so I never got to do the actual recovery of this truck but they had to wait for me to haul it away ...

its a 2003 F250 4x4 auto with a 7.3L ... it is a total write off, I am goin to talk with the owner of the company and see if he will take his settlement and then buy it back off of the insurance company.. and resell it to me ...(his kid says he cant see why not) I want this truck it has low kms and the 4x4 is just dieing to go under my truck then Id have a spare motor too ...

brought a tear to my eye when I rolled up on the scene

Man that is some nasty driving conditions..be careful out there.

Did they put the 6.0 emblems and 6.0 rims on it? Looks like a good project truck for me.

I have no idea ..I know the whole truck was painted before as the kid said it got painted this summer when the same driver struck a deer and it wiped out the front end and banged up the passenger side door.. they painted the whole truck...

the door jamb says its a 2003 built 11th month 2002 and it has the 7.3L thats why I want it if it was a 6.0L I would pass on it as I'm not a fan of the 6.0

it looks like a good solid truck with some body work it would be good truck

I'd be all over it if it was an early build 6.0. Thats what i'm looking for. I hope you get it.



Oops, just remembered they put those rims on some of the late 7.3's too. My bad. But 6.0 badges none the less.

only undamaged sheet metal is the drivers side front fender head light and bumper

every door and both box sides are screwed as is the tailgate and passenger fender

I covered the company logo too as it would be unprofessional of me to not do so
