99-03 powerstroke or 99-03 5.9l cummins ?
Im looking at purchasing a truck to tow around my race/street car (camaro) and also want something i can haul *** in and be like holy sh1t! that truck is fast. I would take it off roading alittle here and there. I dont know to much about ethier
thats why im asking you guys that have the experience and knowledge which one i should go with and what the pro's and con's would be. And mybe alittle insight of what i should look for in buying ethier.

Buy the ford. 96-02 dodge's rot out under the doors and 03's was the first of the somewhat new motor they put in it and its underpowered so if anything I would get the 04.5 and up you will be more happy with the common rail to bad its quieter than the old 24 valves and the 12's. But this is from my experience because I was going to buy one and I have a friend that has only owned dodge rams diesels he had a 96 to start off with 12 valve then a then a 01 24 valve and now he has a 04.5 and its a 24 valve common rail. But its more personally choice so its up to you but just from experience of looking around I wouldn't buy a dodge that was an 03 or older due to they rot unless you are good at body work or you got money to pay someone to do body work.
