Alliance Injectors

Has anybody used Alliant injectors from Midwest Fuel Injection? They have a good price and I wondered if they were any good in a late 7.3 (2003). I want to make sure that for $600 less than Ford injectors they aren't junk.

You mean Alliant? If so thats what im running, except they are modified Alliant BD code (made for DT530 inline 6 engines). There are alot of people that run Alliant injectors, never heard anything bad about them.

Alliant injectors are new not remains. They are made by Cat sold by Alliant.
You can get new 7.3L other IH engines that use the same style injector. The 6.0L power-stroke injector is also available.

injector life

what is the average life span of injectors, I have 200,000 on my 2000 7.3 and it is starting to run a tiny bit rough.

I put a set in a van at that had over 500k but that is the exception. 200 to
300 if the oil and fuel filters were changed when they should have been.

I manage of fleet but we average around 175-225. We are a little harder on ours as they run roughly 12,000 miles per month hauling loads.

injectors

Are they pretty straight forward to change them out? pull the valve cover, out with the old and in with the new? What is a good aftermarket injector, I do not want to pay 250 each at the dealer. Thank you for any advise given.
