It's a Sad Day For Heavy: TW Sent Out

Yup....That's the story. I was fed up with the way my tranny was shifting with the TW chip. I just couldn't live with my rig stock, so I threw in the Banks' stuff back on for now. Besides having to send out my TW for a reburn, it's gonna suck having to deal with Banks equipment again. I just felt the need to let everyone know: Today is a bad day for Heavy.......& I'm depressed about being without THE best modification I've ever bought for my truck.......& having to deal with one of the worst modification(s) I've bought for my truck for a little while.

In settings stock, tow, & daily, it was shifting late & when it did shift, it was more like a 'thud'. It won't downshift in any of these settings either, unless I have the pedal past 1/2. It also doesn't seem to have too much cojones @ regular cruising speeds.

& in that period of time, I'll be drooling over everone else's TW threads. I am happy, though, I did have a back-up.....even though it doesn't hold a match to TW.

Maybe you should get a valve body and get tony to leave the shifting alone, like greg recommends for the FTVB, and then tony can just play with the lockup.

I'm going to have to contact Tony soon. I just put in my Banks Big Hoss module & reinstalled my Six-Gun. It was like a day & night difference. I just came back from driving around town & had a blast! It seems to pick up boost so much faster, the engine seems quieter, it shifts great, & even a skip I have from a bad #8 injector is @ a point now where I can stand it. I think I either got a bad or wrong chip from TW. No matter what I need to call TDP & just let them know it goes a little deeper than the tranny shifting a little funky.
