Need some help. ICP?

So my truck has a miss that causes it to cut out or sputter sometimes. My ICP was leaking oil, so I figured this might be it but either way I needed to change it. After it was changed, it didn't solve the problem, but now I have another weird issue. It acts like it has a 10k mod in it. Not all the time, as in it doesn't have a lope at idle, but when slowing down, coming to a stop it lopes. But when stopped and at idle the lope goes away. It also freewheels, where it doesn't make any noise when I let off the throttle, a lot more often, and it did this when I had the resistor in a while back. Anybody know what the heck is going on with it?

Have you tried pulling codes? It's a place to start. I'm having an idling problem, slightly different from yours & just threw it on the Scanner to see what's going on & it turns out I need a #8 injector.

I've pulled codes meaning as much as my livewire will do and that came up with nothing unusual. Today it started doing some more weird stuff like pretty much every time I shut it off, the next time trying to start, it would surge up and down and die, but then start right up again. It would also intermittently just have no power, I would have it floored and it wouldn't go, felt like it should be dumping smoke but no smoke. So I thought maybe the CPS I put in yesterday was bad so I put the old one back in. No change. So today I put my old ICP back in and these problems seemed to go away so far.

When did you change the fuel filter last? Kinda sounds like something might be clogged ,from the way I read the post.
