Cool Dodge grille?

i've been wondering about this idea for quit some time, i've always loved the idea of having the grille attached to the bottom of the hood and when the hood is open, the grill comes up as well, i was wondering if anyone has thought about trying to fab up something so our grille could do the same thing? probably not but i was just wondering

There is always a little satisfaction in bursting someones bubble. If I only had a camera to get the look on your face Zack. Actually all the new superduty's are that way.

Yea that definatly sucks on the new truck. I understand why they did what they did but that grill is pretty well attached on the new trucks. My head knows very well.

That's why you'd fab up a folding bracket that would be spring loaded to keep it in the "open" position it might release the spring to lock it back in the other direction, or perhaps just make a manual lock and release if it'd be too much work to engineer an automatic one.

Which makes me wonder why they just didn't do that in the first place. It's not as if you'd be sacrificing much, if any strength in the grill with a nice strong metal hinge. And all of the un-bumped heads would surely be worth the slight extra cost, heh.
