I have same year truck with Dp 6 position chip, AFE stage 2 intake, exhaust, and rebuilt tranny, and I am gonna do the stage 1s here very soon. Tempted to go to the 2s, but Im gonna resist. The stage 1s should put you around the 340-370 mark. That what I am banking on.

im assuming your running a pyro gauge as well right?

as far as your PMR's go... i would not run water/meth... i would run straight water if you want to lower egt's

stage 1's is as far as i would go with PMR's... plus a turbo upgrade....

ill be doing upgraded turbo, regulated return, and stage 1's....

sucks.. wish i could just go right up to stage 2's but oh well

OMG yah.. its more important than the trans temp and boost...

my suggestion is to not do any more upgrades until you have a pyro gauge on their...

powdered metal connecting rods man. Earlyy 99's had forged rods from the factory and a small batch in 2001 , but most PSD's have powdered metal rods. Its like having a baseball bat made out of particle board instead of solid hickory. Supposedly they are good up until 400-450 (lots of speculation) horsepower then they start lettin loose on you.
