Figured I would post my MPG log for Dec. and early Jan

all are hand calculated and the tank is filled to the rim truck is completely stock...165,000 miles

Tell me what yall think.....Interstate travel was from Georgia to West Virginia and back...I-75/I-40/I-81/I-77

12-10-08 $2.52 gal 166.7 miles/12.015 gal = 13.88 mpg (hunting-pulling trailor)

12-12-08 $2.45gal 218.7miles/13.952gal = 15.68mpg

12-17-08 $2.49gal 210.7miles/13.82gal = 15.25mpg

12-21-08 $2.09gal 286.1miles/18.735gal = 15.27mpg

12-26-08 $2.35gal 191.4miles/12.52gal = 15.29mpg (interstate)

12-26-08 $2.23gal 250.3miles/14.91gal = 16.79mpg (interstate)

12-26-08 $2.29gal 170.2miles/10.65gal = 15.98mpg (interstate)

12-28-08 $2.49gal 323.0miles/18.91gal = 17.08mpg

1-1-09 $2.38gal 171.5miles/12.87gal = 13.33mpg (interstate/mountains)

1-2-09 forgot to copy info (interstate)

1-2-09 $2.19gal 269.3miles/15.79gal = 17.06mpg (interstate)

Total
------------------------------------------------------------------------
2257.9miles 144.18 gal

overall mileage ------------------->15.66mpg

good numbers for stock, maybe after you do certain mods, you can get close to 20

i wish i knew how you guys were getting this good of mileage. it doesnt seem like i can come close to that. i usually only get like 15mpg with my mods with a combination of city and highway driving. no trailer.

I've gotten 19-21.6 in my truck a few times now. one time I had the gate down just to see, another time I had a refridgerator in the bed laying down, and the rest have just been driving on the highway and on country roads. I have a manual too so I dunno if that makes a huge difference or not.

manual shifts help, take less driveline power to turn them vs an auto.

good numbers man!

soon as i get my trans fixed and I get done with my playin stage, i will get some numbers for you guys. I aint driven my truck in a month, and only 3 times the whole month before that.
