DP-Tuner(no codes)or Overboost Annihilator

Well, I'm finally ordering the DP -Tuner on Monday. I am plan on getting 80E, 120, 40tow, & 60tow. Is it better to get the annihilator or no codes? What harm could happen if I only get the annihilator? If I get the no codes, could I run into problems and not know it? What to do?
