turbo pedistal o-rings

Hey guys, im about to change the pedistal o-rings on my truck. While i have the turbo off is there anything else that i should replace or change that you can think of? Im probably going to replace the uppipe donuts and put in a wicked wheel while i have the turbo off. Any suggestions are appreciated

You could gut out the EBV in the exhaust housing and plug the lever in the pedestal.

Check & make sure your uppipes are OK. When I took my turbo off to gut the EBPV, install the Banks wheel, & new downpipe, I had put everything back together & had a major exhaust leak. After 3 days of making sure it wasn't the v-band clamp on the back of the turbo, it turned out I needed to fabricate new uppipes.

no i dont have a big head on it. when i had my evolution programer it came with this little black orifice tube that you put on the wastegate. instead of the red line sliding onto the waste gate actuator, it slides onto this orifice. i guess it delays the waste gate from opening? i intend on definately replacing the up-pipe donuts.

Turbo Master wastegate controler from dieselsite works great and its adjustable I really could tell a big difference, before I got my chip I gained 8ibs of boost at wot with this mod alone. Also no leaks ever and I believe its cheaper than any others. Bob Riley has great customer service.

It does'nt use vacuum at all. It uses a spring you can adjust to set what psi your wastegate opens. http://www.dieselsite.com/index.asp?...ROD&ProdID=875
I really like mine it works great and very simple.

I'm not sure but it does allow you to adjust when the wastegate opens. You could call Bob Riley and talk to him, I'm sure he's familiar with all of the setups out there. It's easier to put on with the turbo off, for sure. When I had mine off I installed ww,non-ebpv turbo pedistal, wastegate controller, and non-ebpv high flow outlet all at once. I just wanted to do this stuff all at once and be done.I'd give him a call and talk to him about it.
