Does anyone have any pics of overhead consuls for our trucks. I saw a picture on here of someones and it looked awesome. I was wondering if there was an aftermarket one you can get.

If you are looking for storage space, a temp reader, and a compass then it will work... The Lieometer (mpg reader) is worthless if you have an aftermarket chip or programmer...

I am sure you can pick one up off ebay or a junkyard for a cheap price. I bet the plug is there for it...

Well I bought one of those "Shelf-it" things from cabelas, but it positioned my visors in a weird place.

You can get a console from a 98 or so explorer, has map lights, comp/temp and the garage door thingy. ...and it matches the SD's roof contour. Picked one up at the wrecker this weekend, be a while before I can install and show pics.

I'm sure that console is custom made cause I've never seen one...
