need a good scanner for one that will do data and has a functional test ability

the injector buzz test is usualy done when you have a skip, and usually a check engine light with it , it tests the idm and and injector wiring to the injectors as well as the electrical part of the injector

cylinder contribution is usualy done when a engine is skipping , check engine light or not , will pinpoint , bad injector , low compression on a cylinder , anything that will cause a skip and tell you which cylinder or cylinders are skipping

no reason to even run these tests unless engine is skipping

Thanks alot man. My truck has had a surging problem lately and Im hoping Ive got it figured out and its not an injector or anything. Will a bad injector/s cause an intermittent idle surge? I didnt get any codes and theres no cel on.
