Question wierd noise

I filled up the other day and did not havre any diesel cleen... now it sounds like it is knocking more and lags more any one know what the knocking sound is from its like clack clack i guess like a normal diesel lol....

i added some sulfur substitute any one every try it does it quite it down? its due for an oil change in 700 miles so i dont know if that is causing the lag...

well if you use diesel cleen every tiem and this time you forgot to you prolly use to smoother firing injector and the injectors will be louder without the solution and all the sulfur substitute does is replace the sulfur taken out of the new ulsd fuel and gives it its lubricity back
