Turbo questions

I have heard that you can put i 99 1/2 and newer turbo on and OBS, is this possible? If now why? If so what do i need? Will it ad anymore power? Guy told me since it was a non external wastgated turbo it would bolt right up. He had one on a 96 with stage two stick and a good tuned chip and made 380horse. I have a 2000 in our junk lot see if this will work before i want to ask the guy if he will sell the turbo. Also if they do bolt right up could i just swap the two mine for his, the opposite. thanx for all the help

Yes you can if you have a 2000 7.3 just sitting there to rob parts off of.

You would need the following

Turbo and Pedistal
Up-Pipes
Intake Spyder
the intake manifolds(were the boost tubes go into the motor) the SD ones are larger
Intercooler and (IC tubes would have to be modded for the OBS or buy the kit)
