Dumb Question

Ok i got a dumb question, im trying to put my alternator back on my truck and i cant for the life of me figure out which pulley is the one that lifts up to put the belt back on. the 3 I've tried the bolts just come loose like there ready to come off any help guys?

Ok it is the one with grooves on it. Should be mounted to a bracket that has a square hole the size of a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar. Push the breaker bar towards the driver side and that should loosen up your belt.

Ok no luck, i was turning the right pulley the first time, but the bolt just spins, loosening or tightening it just spins easy? Any suggestions?

its not a bolt. like bigcountry said, you take a 1/2 drive and put the end in it. its in the middle of the one that has 2 pullies on the mount.

I got it now, Im dumb, i see what yall were talking about it now, I feel like an idiot, but ive never seen a pulley like that before with the square hole. Thanks guys.
