early 99 air intake tube

i was just cleaning up the engine bay and thought id take off the spider and all the couplers and clamps and clean them a bit. then i noticed a large crack in the air intake tube that connects from the filter to the turbo compressor. so i took it off and it looks like some one just sawed right through it.

my question is...is the early 99 different from the rest of them?
also i guess this would be a good time to do the ccv mod, huh? so i just rotate the thing on the valve cover then run a hose to the ground?

Pretty sure I have one if you need it. You can have it for the cost of shipping.

To answer your question yes the early 99 is different, a 99.5-03 will not work on your truck only an early 99 intake spider will fit

as in spider do you mean the aluminum piece that sits in front of the turbo? or do you mean the plastic black tubes from the air filter to the turbo?

alright, sorry new to some of these terms. the thing that ripped on my truck is the black rubber intake tube from the ccv section to the turbo inlet (from the air filter)

alright rpm is positive he has one as well. i searched for a while last night and only found places that sell replacements for the first section ( the air filter to the ccv sleeve), not the ccv sleeve to the compressor.

Yeah Im not sure on where to get one for an early 99, I know where to get one for an OBS but that doesnt help, but if he has I would grab it up cause they are a ton of money to get one from a dealer
