cant figure this out

so my truck will randomly die on me and if i wiggle wires under the hood it starts back up when it dies and i shut the key off and turn it back on no wts light comes on but after i screw with the wires it comes on and it will start and it has finally thrown a code but i dont have a scan tool is there any way to get the codes off without one please help

Sounds like you have a loose wire or a corroded wire somewhere. I'd find out what the code is and that can give you an idea of were to start and then backtrack
