DIY INTAKE QUESTIONS
im thinkin about just doing the DIY intake instead of spending the 300 bones on a S&B or other intake system. If i like yalls feedback then i will be heading into town today to pick up the things i need, which brings me to a few questions...
Is it a loud intake? Would a local muffler shop have what i need? And wheres the link that shows you how to do it and what you need? If theres not much sound difference over the DIY vs. the S&B or AFE then i would much rather spend 40-50 bucks vs 300-400. Thanks guys |

a muffler shop should have the pipe, or some scrap laying around. I have seen it done with pvc pipe. I dont think its loud. Look in my gallery, theres pics of mine. I'll look for the link...

I could hear it a lot more before I put the ATS turbo housing on. It used to bark and hiss, none of that now.
