block heater cord

Ok is the block heater cord for the 6.0L the same as the 7.3L. I can not find one for the 7.3L on ebay. But they have them for the 6.0L on ebay for 20 bucks.

I need one and don't want to buy the wrong thing. I went to powerstrokeshop But they do not list just the cord. I would have to buy the whole unit. That would cost 46 dollars.

I just bought a cord only from powerstrokeshop.com for 15.46. Its not oem but same thing pretty much. scroll to the bottom

$46 is the price most dealerships get for just the cord. I have no idea about the 6.0 cord, I would wait and call PSS in the morning and ask. I know they do sell just the cord.

were is the plug into the block

It doesnt plug into the block, its on the top of the oil filter base. My dealership also wanted 100 bucks for just the cord.

What do you mean there are none on ebay?$59 bucks though but it seems to come with everything including the heater.

Related question. I tore the end off mine. all 3 wires are the same, how do i put a new end on it? or is it worth it to just flow bigcountry and buy a new one?

Oh ,you just want the cord .I didn't read it right.I don't know about you but the 6.0 cord sure looks the same.Its worth a shot.That same guy I listed has them for $17.99.
