What happened to my mileage?????
Guys, does the change to "winter blend" really cut into MPG's? I was getting about 330 miles between fill-ups and now I'm lucky to get 250. It seems the last 2 tanks have just sucked.... my driving habits have not changed at all, I've towed nothing and have no upgrade / mods on my truck. Could I have something else going on here?

Check the real milage, not just per tank.
Cold weather also makes warm up longer to get to a good operating temp. Letting it sit and idle will make this worse. Start it up, let the oil circulate for 10-15 secs, then drive easy until the temp needle starts to move. That will get it warm much faster. Also less energy per/gallon in winter, that will lower milage too. |

Yeah you will lose mileage with the cold weather, that happens to me too, also just to double check, when is the last time the fuel filter was changed?

Mine is good for a 2.5 to 3 mopg difference. All depends on where you live and how much the fuel is cut, this will of course depend on temps, so usually the further North you go the worse the mileage. Another cause would be bad injector cups can also drop fuel mileage.
